AI Opportunity Mapping

The problem with AI usually isn't a shortage of ideas — it's too many, with no way to tell which are worth your time. This half-day brings structure to the scatter and leaves you with a clear, prioritised view of where to act.

What we'll do

We start with the work itself — mapping the real frustrations, the slow points, and the needs your customers and your team carry that you've never quite been able to meet. This is where the valuable opportunities hide, underneath the obvious ones.

Then we run those needs through a structured set of AI capability lenses, asking a sharper question than "where could we use AI?" — namely, "what could we do for our customers or our team that simply wasn't possible before?" The lenses force fresh thinking and surface ideas a brainstorm wouldn't reach.

Finally we sort everything by impact and effort, so the room can see clearly which opportunities are quick wins, which are worth a proper push, and which to leave alone. You leave with a prioritised map, not a long, flat list.

The session is led by Rose Tighe, drawing on fifteen years building innovation inside Amazon, Sky and Trustpilot — so the prioritisation is grounded in hard-won judgement about what actually pays off, not guesswork.

What you walk away with

Who it's best for

Teams and leaders who know there's value in AI for them but want a structured, honest way to decide where to point their energy — rather than chasing whatever's loudest this week.

Where this often leads

Opportunity mapping is the front end of the full Inside Edge Labs approach. When you're ready to validate the best opportunities and build them out, the consulting engagements pick up exactly where this leaves off.
